So, no story from me today. Instead a bit of self-congratulation. I have spent the better part of the last 2 1/2 years writing a series. Not the series I shared the first two chapters of on the blog, but a different series.

Over 700k words. 7 books. The first drafts of each and every book in the series is DONE. I am exhausted.

It’s a sci fi romance series – not that I intended for it to be one, but that’s how it came out – and I am pleased with the bare bones of the series. It needs serious revision but…not today.

Today is all about binging Hazbin Hotel and relaxing. I have been going without stop on these books and my brain needs a break. I will probably get back to work on them – revisions must be done, after all – later this week. Regular short stories on the blog will resume later this week as well.

But today I need a rest. So I am going to take one. I just didn’t want to leave today without a blog post. So here it is – the Courtesan series is officially written in it’s early stages. We shall see where revisions take it.
